2014 Powerlifting Intervarsities
his weekend UCC Powerlifting Club and the Maradyke arena are thrilled to be hosting the 2015 IDFPA Powerlifting Intervarsities This is the second ever IDFPA Intervarsities event and with a huge list of competitors from colleges across the nation, including 33 form UCC alone,promises to be an exciting and intriguing affair!
As any experienced lifter knows, nothing beats the electric atmosphere at a Powerlifting meet. Clouds of chalk, beads of sweat and powerful roars fill the air as the meeting of man and iron takes place.
All our welcome to attend , lifting commences at 10am and we would encourage anyone looking to get into strength sports or who is even curious to the goings on of a Powerlifting competition to pop in for a look. We would also like to wish all lifters the very best of luck and safe trip to all those travelling from near and far. Let the games begin
